Georgia’s Own Credit Union

In Spring 2015, Georgia’s Own Credit Union (GOCU) was in the market for new space. On their list of desired real estate locations was downtown Atlanta. They wanted to be closer to Georgia State University and at the heart of the business districts of Atlanta. Nearing the end of their then existing lease, they contracted with T. Dallas Smith & Company to acquire the perfect space.

Following a comprehensive search including a market analysis of available large block spaces in Metro Atlanta, building tours, financial analysis, and aggressive negotiations, T. Dallas Smith & Company sealed the deal for GOCU in the heart of downtown Atlanta across the street from Georgia State University. The terms of the transaction also included building signage, cost-savings above projections and a complete turnkey build out of the space.
